2nd Bachelor's Degree - Bachelor of Science in Information Technology

IT Professional working on computerInterested in changing careers? If you already have a Bachelor's Degree and would like to pursue a second degree in Information Technology, UMass Lowell has a special program for you. Students can pursue a Second Bachelor's in IT by taking 10 additional IT courses in designated areas.

Program Outline

Note: Students may not use 90.202 MS Office as an elective in this program. All courses taken should be at the 90.210 level or above.

Students take five elective 90.--- courses at the .210 level or above:
  1. 90.--- Information Technology Elective - 3cr.
  2. 90.--- Information Technology Elective - 3cr.
  3. 90.--- Information Technology Elective - 3cr.
  4. 90.--- Information Technology Elective - 3cr.
  5. 90.--- Information Technology Elective - 3cr.
Students then take three additional 90.--- courses at the .300 or .400 level:
  1. 90.--- Information Technology Elective - 3cr.
  2. 90.--- Information Technology Elective - 3cr.
  3. 90.--- Information Technology Elective - 3cr.

Total Credits Required: 30

Once you've decided which course(s) you would like to take, returning students can register using ISIS self-service, while new students must use the Non Degree Registration Form.
